I'm one year in from diagnosis with pretty significant gut damage, and being already in my 60's I'm pretty keen to allow my gut to heal as much as possible. I don't like to take any risks with gluten so I was very happy to hear about Gluteguard when it was recommended by my dietitian. I take them whenever I eat out or at friends' places as an extra precaution only after checking everything and asking all the questions. I'm planning some travel this year and will be taking plenty of Gluteguard with me for peace of mind.
My wife developed an intolerance to gluten and this was the only product that helped her. She did get back to almost normal tolerance levels after a few years and now rarely needs to use it, but when the occasional need for it arises it still works just as well as it ever did when her use was constant.
So easy to take & it takes the anxiety out of eating.
So often you eat something, you were not informed had gluten, because others think it's only wheat
I'd give this zero stars if possible for such poor customer service.

It is a relief to be able to travel and visit and be able to slightly relax when ordering food from unfamiliar venues. I would like to see some long term studies to see how far the GluteGuard will protect me.

My daughter was diagnosed by a medical Dr as in tolerant to gluten. I thought this could be useful for children's parties. There was no dosage for children.
Hi Tyana, thank you for your feedback. We understand how important it is to have products that cater to children’s needs, and we’re sorry for any disappointment this may have caused.
Whilst GluteGuard’s active ingredient is regarded as a food and safe for children's consumption, GluteGuard is currently only recommended for adults over 18 years old. This is primarily because the safety data collected in clinical trials is from an adult cohort.
Additionally, the current enteric-coated formulation (tablets) can be challenging for some children, and altering the form – such as allowing splitting or crushing of tablets – would significantly reduce its efficacy.
We recognise that many children and adolescents would benefit from protection against accidental gluten ingestion, and our team is working on developing a suitable formulation for children and the regulatory requirements to make GluteGuard available for this cohort.

Have been using Gluteguard for 2 years on the recommendation of my niece who learnt about it when in Australia. I'm very careful when eating out but if something with gluten slips through it certainly eases symptoms.

It gives you peace of mind while out for meals cause as we all know guaranteed gluten free is not always possible due to busy restaurants and cross contamination
My wife and I are Yanks (Virginia, USA) and we had a holiday in Australia last December. My wife is gluten-sensitive and she met another Aussie who is gluten-intolerant as well. She recommended GluteGuard and we gave it a try. Results were incredible and my wife loves it. After returning home we ordered more via post and it arrived in the States about 10 days later. We took it with us to the UK last month and it was invaluable. A great product, sensibly priced, and available even though we’re 16000km away? Wonderful!

I was medically diagnosed in 2020 with gluten sensitivity, due to enormous stressors. Once i was diagnosed it was such a world wind for myself and family to figure out the gluten free lifestyle. I would be constantly super anxious and worried about dining out and ensuring i had a safe, gluten free meal, with no cross contamination, as even the slightest makes myself super sick. Once my mum found gluteguard, it was such a relief on myself. I felt i could dine out, not miss on social interactions and fun events because i had the security of gluteguard to help myself. It 100% has helped myself physically and mentally. I never go anywhere without having a box of it always at hand hehe
Had some odd symptoms and GP thought gluten may have been the issue even though I have actively been choosing gluten free bread and pasta for a year. Can state that this product does 100% deal with hidden gluten.....certainly didn't expect gluten in baked beans and no need to avoid something just because it says it may contain gluten, so chocolate from Aldi back on the shopping list. Genuinely assists in quality of life and relaxing in dining out
I hadn't used this product before but read about it in N Z Coeliac magazine.
Have since used it twice when I was unsure about cross contamination - seemed to work as I had no symptoms.
I know that this is not intended to be a miracle cure or anything, but after reading up on the trial data and history, I decided to try it. I was medically diagnosed with gluten sensitivity
a few years ago and have missed eating a lot of things. For my first trial, I took a tablet, then ate a meal which was not completely guaranteed to be gluten free. I had none of the side affects I have experienced before from accidentally ingesting even trace amounts of gluten! GluteGuard has certainly proved itself to me, and I will be taking it every time I go out to a restaurant or cafe and am 'assured' the food is 'gluten free'... even just as an insurance measure :)
Even though you make the right choices, too often something inappropriate slips past and you find out when the stomach gripes tell you. Glute guard has been a marvellous aid in preventing that. Worth our subscription.

I was sceptical but decided to try buying some for a recent trip overseas. I was able to travel safe in the knowledge that I had Gluteguard as insurance against being glutened. At one point I was unsure what was being served to me so I took a tablet and ate, tentatively. I discovered afterwards that there was indeed gluten-containing ingredients in the meal, but I didn't have the nasty side-effects I normally would after ingesting it. Great safety net for such occasions, I highly recommend it!
Twice I tried this product and twice it made me violently ill. I am not allergic to any of the ingredients that it warns about. Where is the full ingredient list for this product? Not enough information is supplied with the product.

I’m gluten sensitive, I’ve tried another product that was highly rated but it didn’t work well for me at all. Gluten Guard does the trick! It really works, no bloating, pain or bathroom issues. I have recommended it to others. It works for real!
